Information disclosed
It is up to the individual person to decide how much - or little - information to disclose when searching for lost loved ones. It is possible to register under a wide variety of personal markers only known to family and close friends, if it feels unsafe to reveal a full name or location.
Servers
The application runs on dedicated, secured servers placed behind top level firewalls. The servers can only be serviced using a secured protocol narrowed down by specific IP addresses. The server containing the database is not connected to the Internet and only certified personnel have access to it for maximum security.
Connection
All front-end and back-end traffic is encrypted using SSL, ensuring secure communication when users fill in critical personal data.
Log files
All traffic log files are deleted for security reasons.
